Rough Cut Analysis

The rough cut portrayed a series of stereotypes, the main one being the pressure of the your to be cool. We see that there is a distinct division between the Eric and the remaining characters. The fact that Eric is different makes the plot interesting and draws the audiences attention to why Eric is not your typical teenage male. We also go into how the males that are Drake and Alex are influential, persuasive and intimidating to the females and Eric. Problems include with the rough cut are the text at the start is miss timed, leading to an overlap of text which was unplanned. We also noticed that there were some audio issues such as incorrect or misplaced dialogue and environment noise. We finally agreed that some of the cuts where not correctly made leading to some 'dead spots' or black areas within the composition. There was also issues with the timing within the final title credit sequence.
